BrightPay Backup

SimplePay has created an import option for customers who previously used BrightPay. Our BrightPay upload functionality makes it easier than ever for you to migrate from BrightPay to SimplePay - all you need to do is upload a backup of your BrightPay company, and we’ll do the rest.

Follow the steps on this page to generate a snapshot (or backup) of your BrightPay company.

Once you have generated your backup on BrightPay, you can upload it to SimplePay:

• Click on the Profile Icon ( ) > Companies > Upload BrightPay Backup > Choose file.
• Select the BrightPay backup file.
• Click Upload.

Once the import is complete, a new company will be generated within your account, so there’s no need to pre-create a company either. Our Support team will reach out to you once the BrightPay backup has been imported.

Timeline for processing uploads

Uploads may take upwards of 2 weeks to complete (for large companies, or if issues are present); however, SimplePay Support will reach out within 1 - 2 business days with an indication of when the import will be completed. Should you have a specific timeline, please contact Support.
